A Miami-Dade police officer is recovering after his cruiser collided with a Chevy Suburban Tuesday night.
The accident happened near the intersection of NW 7th Avenue and 81st Street. The officer's car and the SUV ended up hitting a light pole. All those involved were taken to the hospital and released with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
