A woman apparently drowned late Sunday in a lake in South Miami-Dade County, authorities said. Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue officials reported responding to a call at 5:20 p.m. in connection with a woman drowning near the 10700 block of SW 44th Street. She was found dead at the scene. The woman's identity has not been disclosed.
