Coral Springs Fire Rescue was called to the house after the parents found the girl floating in the pool.

Although the pool had a safety fence surrounding it, one section was apparently left open.

Police say the child is in extremely critical condition. She was taken to Coral Springs Medical Center, and from there rushed to North Broward Medical Center.
