Florida Has Third Highest Death Rate By Dogs

angry dog 2.jpgStatistics show that only Texas and Georgia have a higher number of deaths caused by dog attacks. Florida ranks third. Interestingly, most of these attacks occurred on an owner's property and the victims were family members. According to the report, Pit Bulls and Rottweilers are the breeds responsible for the most human fatalities. The report goes on to say that 67% of all dog bites and animal attacks are caused by these two breeds. Sadly, the victims of the majority of the dog attacks that cause human fatalities are children.
