wreck.jpgA six (6) year old boy and his grandmother were struck by a car while the child was being walked to school. Both the boy and his grandmother were seriously injured as a result of the car accident and taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to witnesses the vehicle that struck the pair was moving at a low rate of speed at the time of impact and that the grandmother was not paying attention when she crossed the street with her grandchild. Accordingly, the driver of the vehicle will not be charged.

Thankfully, reports indicate that the injuries, although serious, are not life threatening. Should you or a loved one be the victim of another's negligence on the roadways, call the Fort Lauderdale car accident lawyers at our firm for a no-cost consultation.
