A teenager drowned in a Hollywood lake when the canoe he was riding in flipped over. The teen was riding in the canoe with another teen when the incident occurred. After the canoe tipped over, one of the teens was able to swim to shore and was safe. The other teenage boy went underwater and did not surface. It took Hollywood Fire Rescue divers twenty minutes to locate the boy in the water. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
